Why another stopwatch

Most timer pages are heavier than the thing they measure. This one is a single small file: it loads instantly, keeps counting accurately when the tab is in the background, and never asks for an account.

Accuracy

Elapsed time is computed from the system's monotonic clock on every frame rather than by adding up ticks, so a busy browser can delay the display but cannot make the stopwatch drift.
